We’re looking for dynamic, compassionate, and highly organised individuals to be the first point of contact for patients, families, and clinical staff at Devizes Health Centre. As the heartbeat of our front desks, you’ll be essential to creating a warm, welcoming, & efficient experience for all who walk through our doors.

Devizes Health Centre is one of the region’s first integrated care centres, delivering enhanced services in an improved clinical setting for people in and around Devizes. The centre offers a wide range of health and wellbeing services under one roof.

What You'll Do
  1. Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and care
  2. Manage appointments, phone calls, and patient inquiries
  3. Coordinate with clinical staff and departments to ensure smooth operations
  4. Handle patient records and maintain confidentiality
  5. Keep the reception area calm, clean, and under control—even on the busiest days!

We are a busy, friendly team, eager to work with a new member willing to contribute to our ongoing development. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who relishes a challenge. In return, we offer a supportive, fast-moving, and varied environment.

This is a permanent part-time role, 12:30pm – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday.

Main Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
  • Answer incoming calls and direct appropriately
  • Handle patient check-in and check-out
  • Maintain confidentiality and data protection compliance
  • Manage mail and emails
  • Liaise with healthcare staff to relay messages and updates
  • Assist in managing patient flow during busy times

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:
