Confidential seeks a highly motivated Administrator to join a growing business in Witney. The role ensures smooth customer communication while supporting day-to-day warehouse administration.

Hours are 12:00–21:00, Monday to Friday, with alternative shifts 11:00–20:00 or 13:00–22:00 considered. You will handle customer interactions professionally and manage stock-related administration to support operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics required.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong numeracy and clear written communication.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude to change.
  • Experience with stock management systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers via phone and email professionally.
  • Support warehouse operations with admin tasks related to stock control.
  • Produce and manage paperwork to ensure efficient warehouse processes.
  • Process stock movements accurately for third-party customers.
  • Maintain and organise records, including filing documentation.
  • Understand and respond to customer needs and requirements.
  • Handle customer queries and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Liaise with colleagues, suppliers and customers daily.
  • Consolidate Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
  • Ensure tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administrator to join a growing business in Witney. This role is key to ensuring smooth communication with customers while supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of a busy warehouse operation.

Hours of work are 12 midday to 9pm Monday to Friday (Our client would also consider 11am-8pm or 1pm-10pm)

You will be responsible for handling customer interactions professionally and efficiently, while also managing stock-related administration to support operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with customers via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Support warehouse operations with administrative tasks related to stock control
  • Produce and manage paperwork to ensure efficient warehouse processes
  • Process all stock movements accurately on behalf of third-party customers
  • Maintain and organise records, including checking and filing documentation
  • Understand and respond to individual customer needs and requirements
  • Handle customer queries and elevate issues where appropriate
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers on a daily basis
  • Consolidate Proofs of Delivery (P.O.D.s)
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Skills & Experience Required
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or client-focused role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong numeracy skills and clear, legible written communication
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Reliable, conscientious, and self-motivated
