Pertemps Glasgow Perms is assisting a client in Renfrewshire/Glasgow to recruit an Administrator on a permanent basis. The role is a busy, mid-level administrative position requiring accuracy, good organisation and effective communication with internal teams and external contacts.

You will handle records, reports, timesheets and orders, using Excel and MS Office to produce clear updates. This is a permanent, full-time role with standard hours Monday to Friday.

Job description

Administrator – Permanent

Location: Renfrewshire / Glasgow

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Circa £25.5k

Pertemps are delighted to be working with a key client who is looking for an Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a varied administrative role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, managing information accurately and coordinating with different teams to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

The role would suit candidates based in Renfrewshire, Glasgow or the surrounding areas.

As an Administrator, you will provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support across the business. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, updating systems and reports, coordinating information and supporting colleagues to ensure processes are managed effectively.

You will work closely with internal teams and external contacts, building strong working relationships and ensuring information is communicated accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the wider team.
  • Maintain and update internal systems, records and reports.
  • Check information for accuracy and follow up on any discrepancies or outstanding actions.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure tasks are progressed and completed within agreed timescales.
  • Raise and manage orders and associated administration.
  • Monitor outstanding actions and ensure these are followed up appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and distribute regular progress and status reports.
  • Assist with the coordination of team resources, including holidays and other administrative requirements.
  • Process timesheets, expenses and other relevant documentation.
  • Ensure work is appropriately recorded and closed down in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain electronic and paper-based filing systems, including scanning and document management.
  • Ensure relevant compliance and legislative documentation is accurately recorded.
  • Use Excel and Microsoft Office packages to maintain information and produce reports.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external contacts.
  • Identify issues or discrepancies and escalated them appropriately.
  • Support the team with general administrative duties and other tasks as required.
About You

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in an administrative, coordination or support-based role and be comfortable working in a busy environment where accuracy and organisation are important.
