WasteRecruit is recruiting an Administrative Assistant to join our Waste Services team in Rugby. This is a temporary, 37.5-hour-per-week role that provides day-to-day clerical and operational support to the Waste Services Team Manager and the wider management team.
The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, support operational reporting, coordinate documentation and act as the first point of contact for staff, customers and stakeholders, handling front-line administrative duties

We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our clients Waste Services team.
This is a varied and important administrative role, providing day-to-day clerical and operational support to the Waste Services Team Manager and wider WSU Management Team. The successful candidate will help ensure the smooth running of the waste service by maintaining accurate records, supporting operational reporting, coordinating documentation and providing an effective first point of contact for staff, customers and stakeholders.
Working within a busy operational environment, you will provide a broad range of administrative support across refuse, recycling and garden waste services.

We are looking for an organised and reliable administrator who is comfortable working in a busy operational environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
You will ideally have:
Experience within waste management, local authority services, transport, logistics or another operational environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join an established operational team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of essential waste and environmental services.
You will work closely with operational managers, frontline crews and a range of internal and external stakeholders, giving you a varied role with plenty of scope to develop your knowledge of waste services and local authority operations.
Salary: c.£26,000 per annum
