Job description

Our client is a boutique consultancy who specialise in advising senior individuals and organisations in various sectors. They require an Administrative Assistant to join their close-knit team based in the office located by The Strand in Central London.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will support and report into the EA to the CEO. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Provide additional support to the CEO and team (diary, project and administration support).
  2. Assist in organising events and travel.
  3. Office management, ensuring all supplies are sufficiently stocked, keeping the office environment tidy and organised.
  4. General administration kept up to date.
  5. Booking meeting rooms / preparing meeting rooms. Making sure all water and snacks are stocked. Making coffees / picking up coffees.
  6. Arranging team lunches / activities / Christmas party.
  7. Meet and greet guests.

This organisation values discretion above most things and so they will need an honest person of integrity, who is kind, collegial, and efficient. Other qualities required:

  1. Impeccable professional demeanour and attention to detail with a high degree of emotional intelligence and excellent people skills.
  2. The ability to maintain extreme discretion and strictest confidentiality.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Windows and Apple Computers, and general tech aptitude.
  4. Proactive approach, positive attitude, the ability to quickly adapt to a demanding and fast-moving position and work effectively under pressure.
  5. An interest in politics and political affairs but also able to support all projects regardless of one's own political views.

This is an office-based role and the hours are 9.30-6 with an hour for lunch.
