NHS Orkney invites applications for an experienced administrator to join the Community Mental Health Team as Administration Team Leader. The role combines leadership of the administration service with high-quality medical secretarial support to Consultant Psychiatrists and adult psychiatry services.

Based at Vaenta, the post is full-time (36 hours per week) and permanent. Living in the UK is a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing or supervising people.
• HNC in Administration or similar qualification.
• Well organised with planning and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and support to the administrative staff, coordinating workloads and priorities.
• Provide comprehensive medical secretarial support to Consultant Psychiatrists and adult psychiatry services.
