Job summary

National Highways is recruiting an Administration Team Leader for Major Projects to provide administrative support to project teams and programme managers. The role will drive new ways of working to improve delivery across Large Renewal projects and can be based from Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham offices.

Some travel to other regional or site offices may be required. You will lead a team, manage multiple project artefacts, and ensure high-quality information is maintained in line with NH

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams on large projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects to deadline and budget.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide line management and leadership for the administration team, building capability and resilience to enable delivery.
• Lead information management including high-quality project records per policies and legal requirements.
• Embed continuous improvement and value delivery for customers and stakeholders.
• Maintain collaborative relationships across the group to support corporate activities and timely delivery.
• Manage project plans, risk registers, action logs, benefits registers and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Coordinate information flow into group inboxes and draft communications for diverse audiences.
