Job summary

National Highways in Manchester is seeking an Administration Team Leader to provide administrative and organisational support to Project Teams and the Programme Manager, helping implement new ways of working to improve delivery on Large Renewal schemes.

This 12-month Fixed Term role is based from Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham with travel to sites as needed and requires line management of a small team, strong MS Office skills, and a proactive approach to information management and events.

Qualifications

• Excellent communications skills across audiences and media.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams).
• Ability to compile information from multiple sources and draw robust recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide line management, leadership and development for a team delivering administrative support.
• Lead information management, project records and governance to support delivery to time and cost.
• Coordinate events and ensure continuous improvement in team outputs.
