Job Title: Temporary Administration Officer
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Shropshire Council for a Temporary Administration Officer to support essential administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Attend face-to-face meetings across Shropshire and provide administrative support, including preparing documents such as invitations and agendas.
- Record minutes of meetings, including child protection conferences, and handle routine follow-up actions, such as distributing minutes within required timeframes.
- Manage conference-related tasks: setting up and preparing for Initial, Review, and Receiving In Conferences.
- Handle the IRU CP Inbox: upload reports, add temporary CP children onto LCS, respond to inquiries from social workers, chairs, team managers, and agencies, and forward emails to relevant teams.
- Participate in daily IRU meetings to address issues or queries, answer calls from chairs, social workers, team managers, and handle duty phones.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- High standard of administrative skills, including proficiency in word processing and keyboard skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and adhere to administrative requirements.
