Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking an Administration Officer based in Ely (Lancaster Way) with a balance of home and office working. The position offers a salary of £29,541 per year for 40 hours per week on a temporary contract up to 12 months.

You will join the Property Services team, supporting the Service Delivery Manager, delivering high-quality and cost-effective property repairs, compliance and estate services across the UK. Strong organisation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role.
  • Literacy and numeracy equivalent to passes in GCSE English and Maths.
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads, both for self and others.
  • Some experience of working with data, including inputting and updating databases.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Good communication skills, including both written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver, improve, maintain and monitor effective and efficient administrative systems to support the delivery of services in accordance with policies, procedures and relevant regulations
  • Support the regional teams by ensuring accurate and timely information is collected, collated, prepared and presented to ensure regulatory and other standards are continuously met or exceeded
  • Support the management and maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders, residents and contractors, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately, including investigating and responding to complaints
  • Maintain effective filing systems, database records and processes that enable the accurate recording and timely provision of information, ensuring they are as user friendly and accessible as possible

Administration Officer

Lancaster Way, Ely based with a balance of home and office working

Mon-Fri 07:30-16:00 or 08:00-16:30


Temporary position for up to 12 months


We have an opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our in Ely working closely with the Service Delivery Manager. The position sits within Property Services, who are responsible for delivering high quality and cost-effective property repairs, compliance and installation and estate services across the UK to mainly internal clients and additionally a small number of external clients. It is also responsible for operational Health and Safety of the service, including fire safety and delivering effective group wide asset management and reinvestment programmes. This is a varied and challenging role that would suit an organised and proactive individual.


The role of Administration Officer will include:
