Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Band 2 typist/admin assistant to provide clinical transcription and administrative support to the Head & Neck teams.
The post involves typing, filing, data input, and using hospital information systems under the direction of Medical Secretaries, to ensure KPIs and Trust standards are met.
Due to a position becoming available within our Services, we are looking to recruit a band 2 typist/admin assistant.
The successful candidate will provide clinical transcription and administrative support to the Head & Neck teams.

Main duties will include typing/editing correspondence using the G2 clinical transcription system , filing investigation results, retrieving/distributing case note files from all areas of the Trust, data input, using the hospital information systems and any other duties specified by the Directorate Management team.
The post holder will work under the direction of the Medical Secretaries to deliver administrative support within the department, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, working within, and adhering to, the Trust standards of practice and Trust policies and procedures.
