Spectrum Community Health CIC is hiring an Administration Assistant to support the prison healthcare team at HMP Humber. The role focuses on efficient clerical and administrative tasks to ensure timely and coordinated care for patients in a secure environment.

You will act as the first point of contact, manage appointments, handle clinical correspondence in SystmOne and assist with clinic preparation, while maintaining confidentiality and a professional approach in a busy, multidisciplinary

• Acting as the first point of contact for prisoners accessing healthcare services and responding to routine healthcare enquiries.
• Providing healthcare reception and administrative support to ensure patients are directed appropriately and appointments are managed effectively.
• Processing and uploading clinical correspondence onto SystmOne.
• Supporting healthcare clinics by preparing appointment lists, clinical records and relevant documentation.
• Coordinating gate passes and access arrangements for external healthcare professionals and partner agencies.
• Collecting, sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintaining accurate healthcare records and ensuring information is handled confidentially and in accordance with data protection requirements.
• Working closely with healthcare staff to support the smooth day-to-day running of healthcare services across the establishment.
• Contributing to a positive patient experience by providing a professional, respectful and responsive service.

We are looking for a Healthcare Administrator to join our dedicated Prison Healthcare Team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a vital part in supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare services within a secure environment.

As a key member of the administration team, you will provide efficient and effective clerical and administrative support to healthcare professionals, helping ensure that patients receive timely and coordinated care.
