Dorset HealthCare is seeking an administrative support assistant to assist the 0-19 Public Health team. You will help maintain office systems, respond to public enquiries by phone or in person, and work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of services for children, young people, families and communities.

The role stresses accuracy, attention to detail and strong communication, with an emphasis on professional, flexible service delivery and excellent customer care.

  • Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the clinical team.
  • Undertake a range of administrative duties including maintenance of office systems and tools.
  • Provide a professional and courteous response to the general public/clients/carers who contact the Children's and Young People Services by phone or face to face.

Job description

The successful candidate will provide efficient and effective administrative support to our clinical team, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of services and enabling the best possible care for the children, young people, families, and communities we serve across the locality., The successful candidate will be required to work on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. To provide efficient and effective administration support to the 0-19 Public Health team. To undertake a range of administrative duties including maintenance of office systems and tools. To provide a professional and courteous response to the general public/clients/carers who have contact with the Children's and Young People Services either by phone or face to face. Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available. Please ensure you hold valid right to work in the UK and will not require sponsorship if successful.
