Parkfield Grange is a luxurious 80-bed residential and dementia care home situated in Stourbridge. We are seeking an Administration Assistant/Receptionist to work on an 'as and when' basis to cover annual leave and ad hoc sickness. The role involves being the first point of contact at the home, requiring good IT skills and attention to detail. Work hours are 9am – 5pm, with rotas provided in advance.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Welcoming visitors professionally and ensuring visitor logs and identity checks are completed.
  2. Answering calls, responding to inquiries, and redirecting calls as needed.
  3. Providing administrative support to the Home Administrator, mainly HR-related duties.
  4. Assisting with recruitment tasks such as sifting CVs, chasing references, and verifying IDs.
  5. Organizing internal meetings and ensuring requirements are met.
  6. Coordinating staff meal processes.
  7. Responding to emergency situations as required.
  8. Maintaining the tidiness of the reception area in liaison with housekeeping.
