TeacherActive is recruiting an Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant in Carmarthen to support primary-aged pupils with various ALN needs. The role involves 1:1 and small-group work to help pupils access learning and progress.

Job Title: Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £85.50 per day

Are you an enthusiastic Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting primary-aged pupils?

Do you have experience supporting children with a variety of additional learning needs?

Are you confident supporting pupils both 1:1 and in small groups?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary setting in Carmarthen that supports pupils with a variety of additional learning needs. The setting is committed to providing pupils with the individual support they need to engage with their education and make progress.

The setting is looking to take on an Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis. The successful Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant will support primary-aged pupils both 1:1 and in small groups, helping them access learning and providing appropriate support for their individual needs.

The successful Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting primary-aged children with additional learning needs
• Experience providing 1:1 or small-group support
• A patient and supportive approach
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A flexible and adaptable approach
