Job summary

Modis International Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Software Engineer Ada with integration and test capabilities for a long-term contract based on site in Bristol. The role includes Ada code development, verification, and extensive software V&V using target-based equipment and simulations of missile subsystems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ada and UML (Rhapsody), along with exposure to DOORs and IBM EWM config management tools, and a background in integration

Qualifications

• Experience with Ada and UML (Rhapsody).
• Knowledge of DOORs and IBM EWM configuration management is useful.
• Experience in integration testing and debugging.
• Experience in high dependability systems is beneficial.

Software Engineer Ada, Integration & Test Engineer required for long term contract assignment based in Bristol

Skillset/experience required:

• Experience of both UML (Rhapsody) and Ada (AdaCore).
• Knowledge of DOORs and IBM Config Management tooling (EWM) would be useful.
• Suitable skills and experience in Integration testing and debugging.
• Experience of working in High Dependability systems would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• To undertake a full range of engineering activities in line with relevant processes, quality and other requirements.
• The role will involve Ada code development and verification.
• The role will involve software V&V, primarily using target-based equipment containing the software under test and complex simulations of other Missile subsystems.
