Job summary

Modis International Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Software Engineer Ada, Integration & Test Engineer on a long-term contract. You will contribute to Ada code development, verification, and software V&V using target equipment and simulations of missile subsystems.

The role emphasizes integration testing, debugging, and working within high-dependability systems, with a focus on rigorous processes and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with UML (Rhapsody) and Ada (AdaCore).
• Knowledge of DOORs and IBM Config Management tooling (EWM) would be useful.
• Experience in integration testing and debugging.
• Experience in High Dependability systems would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a full range of engineering activities in line with processes and requirements.

Skillset/experience required:

• Experience of both UML (Rhapsody) and Ada (AdaCore).
• Knowledge of DOORs and IBM Config Management tooling (EWM) would be useful.
• Suitable skills and experience in Integration testing and debugging.
• Experience of working in High Dependability systems would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• To undertake a full range of engineering activities in line with relevant processes, quality and other requirements.
• The role will involve Ada code development and verification.
• The role will involve software V&V, primarily using target-based equipment containing the software under test and complex simulations of other Missile subsystems.
