Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced ADA Software Engineer to join a defence client on a 12-month, fully onsite contract in Bristol. You will develop Ada code and perform verification and validation across simulations and target hardware.

The role involves working in a small team, with minimal supervision, using UML (Rhapsody) and AdaCore tools. Experience in high-dependability systems and software integration testing is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience with UML (Rhapsody) and Ada (AdaCore).
• Knowledge of DOORs and IBM Config Management tooling (EWM).
• Suitable skills and experience in Integration testing and debugging.
• Experience of working in High Dependability systems would be beneficial.

Duration: 12 month contract

Rate: £70ph UMB (Inside IR35)

Role details:

We are looking for an experienced ADA Software Engineer to join our defence client on a contract basis - you will work as part of a dynamic team, to develop and deliver innovative solutions by exploiting a wide portfolio of software technologies.

Responsibilities:

• To undertake a full range of engineering activities in line with relevant processes, quality and other requirements.
• The role will involve Ada code development and verification.
• The role will involve software V&V, primarily using target-based equipment containing the software under test and complex simulations of other Missile subsystems.
• You will work as part of a small team and be empowered to work individually with little supervision.

Skillset/experience required:

• Experience of both UML (Rhapsody) and Ada (AdaCore).
• Knowledge of DOORs and IBM Config Management tooling (EWM) would be useful.
• Suitable skills and experience in Integration testing and debugging.
• Experience of working in High Dependability systems would be beneficial.
