Job summary

Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital is seeking a part-time Bank Receptionist to be the friendly face at the Cambridge Hospital reception. You will greet patients, handle enquiries, book appointments and support the department with paperwork. The role requires empathy, clear communication and good IT skills.

Prior experience in healthcare administration is preferred; training will be provided. Shifts include early mornings, early evenings and weekends; bank hours mean variable weekly commitments

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in healthcare administration or a reception environment.
• Good IT and keyboard skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, enquiries and book appointments.
• Welcome patients and direct them to changing or waiting rooms.
• Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms and charge sheets.
