Job summary

Gerrard White Consulting is seeking an Acturis expert to join a UK-wide, remote specialist operations support team within a large insurance broking/MGA group. You will provide first-line Acturis support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with third parties to implement changes across the UK.

The role values practical system knowledge over formal job titles, with opportunities to travel occasionally to support integrations and new groups joining the group.

Remote - UK Wide | Insurance Broking / MGA

Are you the person everyone in your broking team comes to when they have an Acturis question?

We're working with a large UK insurance broking and MGA group looking to add someone to its specialist operations support team focusing on the Acturis platform.

You do not need to already work in an Acturis support or configuration role. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Account Handler, Broker, Technician or Operations professional who knows Acturis inside out and would like to take their career in a more systems and technical direction, rather than continuing to process and service business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day Acturis support to users by phone and email
• Troubleshooting queries and resolving system issues
• Working with Acturis and other third parties to resolve issues and change requests
• Supporting migrations and integrations, particularly as new businesses join the group
• Providing on-site support to new groups of Acturis users when required
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, configuration and system functionality

What we're looking for

We're much more interested in your knowledge of Acturis and how it's actually used within an insurance business than whether you've previously held a systems-support job title.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Acturis
• Experience within insurance broking, an MGA or a similar insurance environment
• A good understanding of insurance processes and operations
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• The ability to communicate with users and stakeholders at different levels
• An interest in developing your knowledge of systems, configuration and technology

Working expectations

Fully remote anywhere in the UK

Option to work from one of the group's local offices if preferred

Occasional UK travel, including supporting integrations following acquisitions
