Blatchford in the United Kingdom is seeking an Actuation Systems Design Lead to drive the development of hydraulic, electrohydraulic and motor-control solutions for our prosthetic and orthotic portfolio. You will interpret medical device requirements and lead concept through detailed design within a safety-critical, regulated environment.
You will oversee digital simulations, GD&T, risk management (ISO 14971, ISO 13485, MDR) and collaborate with systems engineering and clinical partners.

As Actuation Systems Design Lead, you will clearly interpret our medical device requirements and be responsible for originating design solutions for our prosthetic and orthotic product portfolio
You will act as the design authority, you will develop complex actuation systems, overseeing digital simulations
accurate design intends, simulating dynamic motion, limits/fits and
accurately define methods of manufacture.
