Qualifications

Qualified in Prosthetics/Orthotics.
HCPC registration required.

Responsibilities

Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, supplying, reviewing, and adjusting prosthetics.
Managing patient’s case, ensuring needs are respected.
Maintaining appropriate clinical notes and records.
Identifying service development improvements.
Contributing to the Service Contract and Company.

We are looking for a qualified Prosthetist to join our specialist team based at the West Midlands Rehabilitation Centre, Selly Oak, Birmingham.

The role:

As a Prosthetist you will join this specialist rehabilitation centre, this is an exciting opportunity to further develop your career in a busy clinic where you will support a complex range of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, supplying, reviewing, and adjusting prosthetics across a range of amputation levels.
Managing your patient’s case, ensuring needs are respected and the patient is informed throughout the process
Maintaining appropriate clinical notes and records
Identifying, in conjunction with the Area Manager and other team members, service development and/or improvements to ensure efficient and effective use of resource
Making a proactive contribution to the Service Contract and Company as a whole
