Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in London is launching a 24-36 month ICT apprenticeship designed to kickstart a career in actuarial analytics. You'll work on client projects, apply modelling techniques and learn alongside leading experts while balancing study commitments.

You'll benefit from on-the-job training, a robust study support package, and coaching from a mentor and training provider, with office days in London or nearby locations.

Qualifications

• A-Level qualified, including Maths at grade A or above, and at least 136 UCAS points across three A levels.
• Highly numerate, with a mathematical and analytical mind
• Clear and confident communicator
• Personable, approachable and motivated to work as part of a supportive team
• Someone with an interest in and aptitude for learning and developing new ideas
• Disciplined, determined, and ready to balance the demands of studying while working
• Computer literate, ideally with some understanding of Excel
• Comfortable using AI tools to support work, with an understanding of their strengths and limitations

Responsibilities

• Use actuarial and statistical modelling techniques to analyse data and produce insightful results for clients
• Present your analysis both internally and to clients
• Collaborate with colleagues in the UK and globally to tackle real-world actuarial problems
• Build your core technical and consulting skills through hands-on experience and team support
• Learn and apply open-source tools and technology, alongside WTW’s own proprietary insurance technology solutions
• Grow through structured early-career training and ongoing learning from subject matter experts in the team
• Balance your studies with project responsibilities
