Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a commercially minded Manager to join the Actuarial & Risk Modelling team. You will lead pensions actuarial engagements, manage client relationships, review technical work and coach junior colleagues.

The role offers visibility, progression and the chance to develop into senior leadership as the practice grows. We are investing in AI-enabled ways of working to enhance advisory services.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary or equivalent professional recognition.
• Experience with Defined Benefit pension schemes.
• Strong stakeholder management across internal/external parties.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of pensions actuarial engagements.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Review technical work and coach junior team members.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and thought leadership.
• Support the growth and development of the Actuarial & Risk Modelling practice.
