Job summary

Arthur Recruitment seeks an Actuarial Manager to lead Solvency II deliverables and collaborate with Risk/Finance. The role focuses on producing actuarial outputs for Pillar I and Pillar II processes, with one day per week in the London office and flexible working arrangements.

The ideal candidate is an experienced actuary with Solvency II and ORSA knowledge, and a background in non-life insurance, preferably personal lines. Leadership and governance experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary or progressing FIA/IFoA membership.
• Experience with Solvency II and ORSA processes.
• Background in non-life insurance, preferably personal lines.

Responsibilities

• Compute best estimate liabilities, risk margin and SCR under Pillar I.
• Assist with ORSA, capital assessment, stress testing and Pillar II reviews.
• Maintain governance framework with results review and policy documentation.
• Transform operating model by improving processes and advancing automation.
