Job summary

Unum UK is seeking an Actuarial Reporting Manager to lead actuarial reporting across Solvency II balance sheets, P&L, and regulatory submissions. You will interact with senior stakeholders and mentor junior colleagues in a collaborative team.

The role blends technical actuarial work with business impact, offering visibility within the Finance Function and opportunities to drive change.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary with strong actuarial experience across Life, GI or Pensions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to translate data into business narrative.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Interest in finance transformation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial reporting activities including Solvency II balance sheet and P&L.
• Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders with clear financial insights.
• Explain complex actuarial concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
