Senior Actuary – Generalist (Non-Life Insurance)

IGA Talent Solutions is seeking to engage with experienced Actuaries with a broad background across multiple actuarial disciplines, looking to step into a senior role within a large actuarial team.

This role is suited to individuals who have developed strong experience across at least two core areas (e.g. Pricing, Reserving, Capital, or Validation) and are looking to further expand their exposure across a diverse and high-impact range of work.

Key aspects:

• Leading and delivering work across pricing, reserving, capital, and model validation
• Providing insight on actuarial methodologies, frameworks, and best practice
• Supporting business planning, portfolio optimisation, and performance management
• Contributing to change initiatives across data, systems, and operating models
• Exposure to portfolio reviews and strategic business assessments
• Involvement in regulatory and financial reporting frameworks such as Solvency II and IFRS 17
• Supporting and developing more junior team members
• Leading or contributing to “special projects” such as transformation programmes, emerging risk assessments, or innovation initiatives (e.g. automation, AI, new data integration)

You will gain exposure across a broad spectrum of business including UK Commercial and Retail portfolios, as well as Lloyd’s / London Market and Specialty lines, offering a diverse range of actuarial and strategic challenges.
