Overview

Key duties (including but not limited to)

• Managing multi-disciplinary client engagement teams to deliver high quality actuarial work as part of external audit assignments
• Reserving for clients in personal lines as well as the Company / The Company’s Market, including the Company’s Statements of Actuarial Opinion and Solvency II Technical Provisions
• Calculating SCRs using the Standard Formula approach
• Other ad hoc work across reserving, capital modelling and pricing including advisory assignments, internal audits and due diligence

Qualifications required:

• Be committed to achieving the Fellowship accreditation

Experience required:

• Ideally 3-6 years of UK general insurance experience in reserving
• Experience in capital modelling and/or pricing would also be beneficial along with using the software tools
• Nearly qualified Actuary making good progress through the actuarial exams
