About the team

Our Actuarial team leverages expertise in financial, risk, and capital modelling to help clients manage inherent business complexities. We combine technical and commercial skills to provide insights, assurance, and support effective decision-making for business leaders. You will serve regional, national, and international companies of all sizes, collaborating with actuarial and non-actuarial team members for each engagement.

About the role

This position focuses on life insurance, split between external audit during financial reporting season and a variety of actuarial consultancy projects throughout the year. Supporting the Actuarial Partners, you'll be involved in diverse projects, adding value to our UK business.

We seek someone with life and health insurance experience to assist in developing robust methodologies for Solvency II valuation and reporting, gained either from a life insurance company or a consulting firm.

You will receive early responsibilities and participate in high-profile global projects, with work typically involving office-based tasks, client meetings, and relationship development.

What are we looking for?

• Part qualified – most or all of the CT series completed or nearly qualified.
• Familiarity with building models in Excel or actuarial software such as Prophet or Mo.Net.
• Interest in managing people, with preferably some experience leading small teams.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to develop oneself and others.
• Demonstrates integrity, ethical standards, flexibility, and tact in expressing views.
