Junior Adventures Group in Clifton is hiring an Activity Leader for Breakfast Club and After School Wraparound, ages 4-11. This part-time, term-time role covers mornings 7:30-9:00 and afternoons 3:20-6:00, totaling 18 hours per week.

You’ll create fun, safe activities and supervise children with energy and care. Applicants must be able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check, provide two references, and comply with KCSIE; the role offers training, wellbeing support, and a friendly team in a flexible

• Experience working with children preferred.
• DBS check and safeguarding compliance required.
• Two references (one from most recent employer).

• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30-9:00am and 3:20-6:00pm, for part-time balance.
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

Hours: Breakfast and after-school club hours (7.30am-9.00am and 3.20pm-6.00pm) 18hours per week
Pay: In line with national minimum wage for age

At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4-11.

This role is split shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who loves working with children and brings a positive, can-do attitude
• A creative thinker who knows how to turn an ordinary afternoon into a magical experience
• A team player who’s also confident running activities and managing a group
• Bonus points if you have experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work (but not essential, personality goes a long way!)
