Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is hiring a Childcare Activity Leader in London to energise Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4–11. You will run morning and afternoon activities, ensuring safe, inclusive, and fun experiences.

The role is term-time, 15 hours per week, with split shifts (7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm). Pay up to £12.71 per hour, with opportunities to increase hours during Holiday Club seasons.

• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out with a friendly, detail-oriented approach.
• Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm.
• Be a team player who can lead activities when needed.

At Junior Adventures Group, we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4–11. This role is split shift, meaning you'll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.

What you'll do day-to-day:

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm, perfect for work-life balance or those seeking part-time fun!
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

What we’re looking for:

• A team player who’s also confident running activities and managing a group
• Bonus points if you have experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work (but not essential, personality goes a long way!)
