Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is hiring an Activity Leader to run fun, age-appropriate activities for children aged 4-11 at breakfast and after-school clubs in Clifton. The role combines mornings and afternoons with a mid-day break, and supports a warm, energetic team in a safe environment.

The position is term-time and part-time (approximately 18 hours/week), with opportunities for extra hours during holidays, training, and development. DBS and references required.

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome.
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.

Hours: Breakfast and after-school club hours (7.30am-9.00am and 3.20pm-6.00pm) 18hours per week

Pay: In line with national minimum wage for age

At Junior Adventures Group , we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you’ll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our Breakfast & After School Clubs for children aged 4-11.

This role is split shift , meaning you’ll work mornings and afternoons, with a break in between (great for studying, hobbies, family, or even a nap!). You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your hours during Holiday Club seasons and Lunchtime Cover.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who loves working with children and brings a positive, can-do attitude
• A creative thinker who knows how to turn an ordinary afternoon into a magical experience
• A team player who’s also confident running activities and managing a group
• Bonus points if you have experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work (but not essential, personality goes a long way!)
