Cygnet Wallace Hospital in Dundee is seeking an Activity Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team. The role is 20 hours per week with a flexible pattern, across seven days, including weekends.
You will plan and deliver therapeutic activities, engage patients, and help ensure meaningful routines. Driving licence required and PVG check, with opportunities for CPD and development.

This role will be working an average of 20 hours per week, contracted to 80 hours per month. The role will work on a flexible shift pattern across seven days of the week, based on the needs of the service. The typical working pattern will consist of: 2 x 8-hour shifts one week 3 x 8-hour shifts the following week. This provides flexibility to ensure therapeutic activities and meaningful engagement are available to patients throughout the week, including weekends.
Site information: Cygnet Wallace Hospital is an 18-bed specialist service in Dundee, providing care and support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. We are proud to have recently received an exceptional inspection outcome from Healthcare Improvement Scotland, with no requirements or recommendations identified.
Our focus is on delivering high-quality, person-centred care within a supportive and therapeutic environment, helping the people in our care to develop independence, confidence and meaningful life skills. The Therapy Coordinator will be an important part of our multidisciplinary team, supporting a varied programme of therapeutic, social and community-based activities and helping ensure that meaningful activity is embedded throughout the week.
