We are looking for a confident and compassionate Activity Coordinator with a passion for making a difference to join our team at Cygnet Paddocks in Widnes. Youllbe working40 hoursper week, Monday to Friday, making a positive difference to the lives of the men in our care. This role involves working some evenings and weekend work. You will help plan and deliver meaningful activities that support independence, wellbeing,recoveryand daily living skills for the men in our care.
As an Activity Co-ordinatorat Cygnet Paddocks, you will support and enhance the care of individuals at the service by working closely with the Occupational Therapist and wider interdisciplinary team.
Cygnet Paddocks is our specialist neuropsychiatric rehabilitation hospital for men,locatedin Widnes in theNorth West. The service provides a dedicated care pathway for men affected byacquiredbrain injury or neurological conditions, wherebehavioursthat challenge may be the main barrier to recovery and rehabilitation. The service supports the Level 1 Neuropsychiatric Rehabilitation Pathway for theNorth West, with a focus on adult males. Cygnet Paddocks has individually designed wards to support a clear and distinctive care and treatment pathway for people affected byacquiredbrain injury. The in-house interdisciplinary team includes neuropsychiatry, psychology, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, physiotherapy,nursesand support workers, all working together to keep the individual at the heart of their care and discharge planning.
