Windmill Lodge Care Home in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead engaging, person-centred activities that support wellbeing and social interaction for residents, including those living with dementia.

You will plan a varied programme, tailor activities to individual interests, and work with the team to create a welcoming, inclusive environment. Weekend shifts are required on alternate weeks.

Qualifications

• Creative, organised and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Genuine interest in supporting older people.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in activities or similar role is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities.
• Deliver group and one-to-one activities tailored to interests and needs.
• Build relationships to understand preferences and promote inclusivity.
• Work as part of the wider team and participate in alternate weekends.
