Job summary

Careermakers is seeking a dedicated Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activities that support residents' wellbeing in our Sleaford care home. This full-time role offers day shifts and opportunities for professional development.

You will create engaging activity plans, provide companionship, and support residents including those living with dementia, while benefiting from a supportive, values-led team and the chance to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience delivering activities within a care home or similar environment.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities, or willingness to work towards this.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activities to support residents wellbeing and quality of life
• Create engaging activity plans tailored to residents interests, needs and abilities
• Provide companionship and one-to-one support for residents requiring additional support
• Support residents living with dementia through appropriate activities and engagement techniques
