Job summary

Career Makers in Sleaford, Lincolnshire is seeking an Engagement and Wellbeing Coordinator to join a high-quality care home. The role focuses on activity planning that supports residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.

You will create engaging, person-centred activity plans, provide companionship, and support residents including those with dementia. A minimum of 2 years’ experience and NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities (or willingness to work towards this) are required.

• Minimum 2 years experience delivering activities within a care home or similar environment.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities, or willingness to work towards this.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activities to support residents wellbeing and quality of life.
• Create engaging activity plans tailored to residents interests, needs and abilities.
• Provide companionship and one-to-one support for residents requiring additional support.
• Support residents living with dementia through appropriate activities and engagement techniques.
