Harrier House Care Home in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enrich residents' wellbeing through engaging, person-centred activities.
You will plan and deliver group and one-to-one activities, work with families and staff, and ensure safety and accurate records. The role promotes independence, social interaction and a welcoming environment.
Harrier House Care Home is a modern residential, dementia, respite and day care home in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire. Home to six beautifully designed care suites and outstanding lifestyle facilities, we provide a supportive environment where residents can enjoy meaningful experiences every day.
As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing residents' wellbeing by delivering engaging, meaningful and person-centred activities that promote independence, choice and social interaction.
You will plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents' interests, abilities and life experiences. Working closely with residents, families and colleagues, you will encourage participation, support hobbies, organise seasonal events, outings and community activities, helping residents remain active, connected and engaged.
You will ensure activities are delivered safely by following Health & Safety, infection prevention and risk assessment procedures, while maintaining accurate activity records and adapting programmes to meet residents' changing needs. Through creativity, compassion and teamwork, you will help create a welcoming environment where every resident feels valued and included.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
