Bowood Court Care Home in Redditch, Worcestershire is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance residents' wellbeing through engaging, person-centred activities. You will plan, organise and deliver group and 1:1 activities tailored to residents' interests, abilities and life experiences, and work closely with families and staff to promote participation and social engagement.

Bowood Court & Mews Care Home is a modern residential, dementia and respite care home in Redditch, Worcestershire. With beautifully designed living spaces, sensory gardens and a vibrant programme of activities, our dedicated team creates a welcoming environment where residents are supported to enjoy every day.
As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing residents' wellbeing by delivering engaging, meaningful and person-centred activities that promote independence, choice and social interaction.
You will plan, organise and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents' interests, abilities and life experiences. Working closely with residents, families and colleagues, you will encourage participation, support hobbies, organise seasonal events, outings and community activities, helping residents remain active, connected and engaged.
You will ensure activities are delivered safely by following Health & Safety, infection prevention and risk assessment procedures, while maintaining accurate activity records and adapting programmes to meet residents' changing needs. Through creativity, compassion and teamwork, you will help create a welcoming environment where every resident feels valued and included.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
