Care Concern Group is seeking a dedicated Activities Coordinator at our Buchanan House Care Home in Bearsden. This full-time role focuses on enhancing the lives of our 53 residents through engaging and meaningful activities that promote their wellbeing, independence, and social interaction.
Key responsibilities include planning and delivering activities tailored to individual needs, as well as building relationships to understand preferences. Situated in Bearsden, our purpose-built care home offers Residential, Nursing, Dementia & Respite care to 53-residents.
As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.
You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.
Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
