Job summary

Careermakers is recruiting an experienced Activities Coordinator for a care home in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. The role focuses on planning and delivering meaningful, person-centred activities to enhance resident wellbeing and quality of life.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' activity delivery experience in a care setting, and an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities, or be working towards it. This is full-time days with a supportive, values-led team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience delivering activities within a care home or similar environment.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities, or willingness to work towards this

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activities to support residents' wellbeing and quality of life
• Create engaging activity plans tailored to residents' interests, needs and abilities
• Provide companionship and one-to-one support for residents requiring additional support
• Support residents living with dementia through appropriate activities and engagement techniques
