Job summary

Victoria Gardens Care Home in Coventry is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs.

You will build strong relationships to understand preferences and support inclusive participation for all residents, including those living with dementia. The role offers training, support and a path for development within Care Concern Group.

About Victoria Gardens Care Home

Victoria Gardens Care Home is a 25 bed care home located in the peaceful residential area of Tile Hill, on the outskirts of Coventry, West Midlands. Providing residential care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to provide high quality, person centred care. With a friendly, family atmosphere and a focus on supporting independence, wellbeing and meaningful daily experiences, Victoria Gardens is a rewarding place to work and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

• £12.95-13.45 per hour
• Contracted to 30 hours per week
• Paid [PVG/DBS], pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
