Job summary

Ridgeway Rise Care Home in Blunsdon St Andrew, United Kingdom, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to design and deliver engaging, person-centred activities for residents.

You will tailor group and one-to-one activities, build relationships, support wellbeing, independence and social interaction, including residents living with dementia. Training and support provided; role open to both experienced and those new to care.

Job description

Our purpose-built luxury care home offers Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care for 73-residents.

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to 37.5 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
