Job summary

Care Concern Group Limited is seeking an Activities Coordinator at Ridgeway Rise Care Home in Swindon to enhance wellbeing through engaging, person-centred activities. You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities for residents, tailoring to each individual.

Join a supportive team with training available. The role offers an hourly rate of £12.71 for 37.5 hours per week, with paid DBS, pension and uniform provided, plus 5.6 weeks annual leave.

Job description

Our purpose-built luxury care home offers Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care for 73-residents.

• £12.71 per hour


• Contracted to 37.5 hours per week


• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided


• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.

Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
