Royal Mail in Manchester is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels in the local area on a 33.5-hour week. The role is a fixed-term contract for 6 months, with a rotating shift including weekends. Training is provided, with a red Royal Mail van and uniform supplied.

You will work outdoors in all weather, build relationships with customers, and handle diverse items. Overtime is paid and pension benefits apply, offering a rewarding community role.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required (maximum 6 penalty points) and able to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work outdoors in all weathers.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
