Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Uxbridge is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver (Postie) on a fixed-term 10-month contract. You'll join the team delivering letters and parcels on a 30-hour week, with a rotating shift including weekends and all weathers.

You'll train fully, wear the iconic red uniform, and use a Royal Mail van on your route. A full UK manual driving licence, reliability and fitness to walk long distances are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK manual driving licence.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and carry mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated in a busy environment.

• Willingness to work outdoors and on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
