Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) at Seaton Delivery Office. This fixed-term role runs 9 months with 37 hours per week across a 5-in-7 rota and weekend work. The job involves delivering letters and parcels, building customer relationships, and working outdoors in all weather.

You will need a full manual UK driving licence, be willing to drive a Royal Mail van daily, and pass a driving assessment. Training is provided; overtime is paid.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and carry 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated with strong organisation and resilience.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Able to work outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follow rotating shifts and weekend rosters.
• Deliver items on route including election materials.
