Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Postie to join the Southam delivery team. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, using a Royal Mail van and on foot, while building customer relationships and working outdoors in all weather.

The role requires a full manual UK driving licence and a willingness to drive daily with a driving assessment. The position involves 35 hours per week on a rotating schedule, including Sundays, with training provided and overtime paid.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good organisation.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.
• Strong customer focus and pride in delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
