Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Rathfriland to deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, on a rotating shift schedule Monday to Saturday. The role is a permanent contract, 20 hours per week, with 5 days in 6 and hours from 09:00 to 13:00 on some days.

You will need a full manual UK driving licence, be physically fit for long walks, and enjoy working outdoors and independently.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Physically able to walk long distances and lift mailbags.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
