Job summary

Royal Mail in Strathcarron is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join our team and keep communities connected. You'll deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, working a 34-hour week on a rotating shift including weekends.

You will be outdoors in all weather, build relationships with customers, and enjoy a role that combines activity with reliable, structured hours. Full manual UK driving licence required; driving assessment; physical fitness; and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs/hills, and lifting/carrying 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
